Welcome to Chinut Chihuahuas! 

We are a fun-loving group of Chihuahua owners, or perhaps more accurately, Chihuahua owned humans.  We care for and are involved in each other's lives.  We may vary from dog related issues from time to time, however, this is first and foremost a pet related website.

I do enjoy getting to know members from their posts on the message board, but I do not have any rules about how often a member should post.  I feel that this group is here to for you to use as benefits you most, whether that be once a day or once a week.  I have no problem with "lurking".  I realize that everyday life becomes crazy sometimes and there may be times you cannot come to the group for quite awhile.  Don't feel bad and don't hesitate to come back! 

You do not have to become a member to view this site, however, some pages will not be allowed to be viewed except by members.

My hard and fast rules are:  No Spam!  No Porn!  No foul language!  No advertising puppies or stud services!  Do not abuse the message board to only post links to your group. Violators will be banned.

If you have your own site, I do not mind if you sign your messages with something like, "Chinut, Chinut Chihuahuas" with a link embedded.

Please remember that whenever people congregate, there will be differences of opinion.  We may have been raised with different values and experiences.  You are free to state your opinion.  I sure do!  However, when fingers are flying on the keyboard, sometimes words and sentences turn out differently than intended.  Sometimes I go back to one of my posts and realize the way I worded something changed the entire feeling I was trying to convey.  Give other members the benefit of doubt if you feel rebuffed.  If you have offended someone and didn't mean to, please try to restate your post and make amends.

In case of serious issues with other members or other concerns, please e-mail me privately rather than taking it to the message board. 

Just for your information:  There is only one manager for this group, Liz/Chinut, and the only assistant manager is WdlsBadPuppy, who is my husband. Other assistant managers listed, such as Peso and Nani, are still me. 

This group has members from around the globe.  Not every member uses English as their primary language and not all translation programs translate into "American" English.  Please be considerate of other members who may use sentence structure or words that are different than you are used to.
